Abstract
- The article discusses the problems of poor quality and disparity in Nepal's school education. The article focuses on Nepal's one laptop per child (OLPC) approach to education. The article examines the issue of increasing disparity in education quality across school types, locations, and population groups. The author begins by discussing the increase in school enrollment after the 1971 New Education System Plan. Subjects of the article also include different models of computer usage in the school, a framework for implementing the OLPC model, and the development of digital content.
