Grain leather fades overall.

The article presents a case study on white grain leather which fades and then affects the whole garment. It states that the white grain leather is cleaned with hydrocarbon which resulted to a mechanical degradation in normal wear. It mentions that the fading would be prevented by spraying re-colouring on the grain surface and applying sealing coat. It adds that the colour of the leather can be improved by using a standard spray booth with a standard leather re-finishing dyes and agents.
