Abstract

The article presents a study on the correlation between Undergraduate General Point Average (GPA) and Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and Academic Success and Passing Rates of the National Certification Examination (NCE) for Nurse Anesthetist students in the U.S. It notes that admission variables and examination performance rates could not be performed due to lack of variability. The research aims to identify the performance indicators of nursing programs to carry out change in the profession. It cites that GRE and GPA were predictors of the tests. Moreover, GRE score is the only significant predictor of unique variance.
