Abstract
- The article provides information on the Joyner Library Digital Collections (JLDC) developed by the East Carolina University in February 2009 in North Carolina. It states that the Extensible Markup Language (XML) of JLDC database accommodates a diversity of digital objects types and uses multiple metadata schemas. It adds that JLDC features broad thematic collections, collection templates, and hypertext links in records.
