Abstract
- The article reports on the updates in HIV vaccine research and its development in the 21st century. It cites the belief of research scientists that the only way to put an end to the AIDS pandemic is to formulate a safe, effective, and cheap preventive vaccine. However, recent attempts on the vaccine creation has proven unsuccessful. Also presented is a hierarchical diagram which depicts the pipeline of HIV vaccine research and development.
