George Dillistone (1877-1957).

The article reports on the role of George Dillistone in garden design and landscape architecture during the early part of the 20th century. Dillistone is a partner in the nursery Robert Wallace & Co. at Turnbridege Wells where he was responsible for the garden designs produced by the nursery in 1919. He was a founder member of the Institute of Landscape Architects and a keynote speaker during an international conference on garden design sponsored by The Royal Horticultural Society in 1928.
