Abstract
- The article features a stress study on dorado fingerlings called Salminus brasiliensis Cuvier 1816 at different densities and hours of transportation, in which the species were said to be essential in Brazilian aquaculture. Classified as acute, the stress from fish transportation causes cortisol increase into the tissue of animals. Plasma cortisol was collected from fish species like Salmo trutta and Salmo salar to evaluate the stress.
