Abstract: The article discusses the structural safety of a cargo containment system, such as a membrane-type containment system or independent tank type B against sloshing loads under partially-filled condition and topside module weight. It presents the results of the studies on the effect of sloshing load on the floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) tank.
