Abstract
- The article offers tips on eating healthy during the holiday season. According to registered dietitian Gloria Tsang, people should fill up at home before going to a party to avoid eating too much at the venue. When preparing recipes for the holidays, some ingredients may be substituted with low-fat and low-calorie alternatives such as low-fat milk, no-calorie artificial sweeteners, or eggwhites and egg substitutes. Taking only small servings and having self-control can also help avoid gaining weight during the holidays.
