MALIGNANT MENINGIOMA WITH EXTRACRANIAL METASTASES.

Abstract: The article describes the case of a 75-year-old male patient with malignant meningioma and extracranial metastases. An atypical grade III meningioma was discovered after anatomopathological examination, as well a recurring tumor which was removed by resection and cranioplasty. Chemotherapy with hydroxyurea was initiated to treat a diagnosed metastatic meningioma. The patient died after surgical complications in 2008.
