Abstract
- The article offers information on the Galileos Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) unit from Sirona Galileos, using three-dimensional (3D) x-ray imaging technology for diagnostics. The author claims the Galileos can be used as the primary diagnostic tool in implantology, oral surgery, pathology and restorative dentistry, as it helps to identify, diagnose, treatment plan, and fulfill therapy and prevention, regardless of the treatment modality. Meanwhile, the unit's software's implant planning functionality is detailed.
