Blind Equalization Scheme for MIMO Systems based on Modified RLS and Canonical Correlation Analysis.

In this paper a new technique of Blind Equalization for Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Systems is proposed based on Recursive Least Squares (RLS) algorithm and Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA). A Modified Recursive Least Squares (MRLS) algorithm is introduced based on exponentially weighted recursive least squares. Combined CCA and MRLS (CCAMRLS) have better tracking ability compared to CCARLS when they are applied to MIMO systems which are non stationary. Further improvements include good convergence speed and lower residual Inter Symbol Interface (ISI) as compared to CCA-RLS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
