Abstract
- The article examines how rapper Tupac Shakur became the most influential rapper in the U.S. The voice of Shakur sounds through the cultural landscape and lingers over the spirits with formidable intensity. Shakur embraces rap's history and worked within its limits while frequently forcing against them, remolding the conventions of rap while dimming the lines between his life and art.
