- The article focuses on the legal aspects of the border search doctrine in the U.S. It discusses the decisions of the District Court and the Ninth Circuit in a lap top border search case cited within the journal. It explores the legal ramifications of the Ninth Circuit's decision in light of the principles articulated in the recent cases dealing with sense-enhancing technologies.
