Abstract

The article presents a study on the special cavities and fractures of the Tahe-fractured reservoir in Xinjiang Autonomous Region in China. It notes that the reservoir cannot be regarded as a traditional continuous porous medium, and therefore, a Darcy-Stokes compound single-porosity model was created, with entire flow area divided into a Darcy-Flow region. Accordingly, the model has successfully showed the flow behavior of bottom and edge water that flow into the wellbore within the cavity.
