Now the problem of drinking-water safety in rural area is getting worse and worse, and it poses serious threat to constructing the socialist new rural area, the harmonious society as well as our well-off society. We should cling to the basic notions and principles of equity and justice, reflect and perfect our existing law system on rural area drinking-water safety protection. In addition, a law should be established to protect drinking-watery safety in both urban and rural areas.
