Abstract
- The article discusses research on an approach to a bone grafting technique called maxillary sinus augmentation using mesenchymal stem cells from human. It references the study "Sinus Augmentation Using Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells Loaded Into a Beta-Tricalcium Phosphate/Hydroxyapatite Scaffold," by Y. S. Shayesteh et al, published in "Oral Surgery Oral Medicine Oral Pathology Oral Radiology & Endodontics" in August 2008. The study investigated a composite grafting material comprising of hydroxyapatite/beta-tricalcium phosphate (HA/TCP).
