Abstract

The article focuses on the population of sea spiders in the Middle East. The objective of the study is to determine the number of the said species found in the area. Researchers conduct a benthic survey at the Mediterranean coast identifying that only one species found, Ascorhynchus castelli. They have recorded 24 pycnogonid species found in Turkish coast which also reflects the previous occurrence of the said species for the Eastern Mediterranean Basin.
