Abstract

The article examines the prospect for Kim Jong-un's succession as the next president of North Korea. It discusses why it is too late for Kim Jong-un to be groomed for the top leadership post, eventhough he was chosen by his father President Kim Jong-Il to be his successor. It also explores the importance for Kim Jong-un to get the support of the military and the Korean Workers' Party if he is determined to succeed the powerful post of his father. INSET: CONCLUSION.
