Abstract: The article reports on the significance of occupational therapy for people with arthritis in the U.S. It states that occupational therapy for people with arthritis is used to illustrate health promotion using health focus. It is selected because arthritis is a leading cause of disability in U.S. adults and dramatic advances in rheumatologic care.
