Abstract

The article discusses the importance of equal distribution of information in Asia and Oceania. It highlights the development of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions' (IFLA) Regional Standing Committee to address the concerns on uneven digital distribution of information and the need for lifelong literacy. It also mentions IFLA's president Kay Raseroka's goal to prioritize information literacy through improvement of education and training activities.
