Challenge of pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus) fed diets supplemented with vitamins C and E by Aeromonas hydrophila under different temperature.

The article discusses a study which examined the interaction between ascorbic acid and dietary levels of alpha-tocopherol on external appearance, clinical signs, and survival of pacu or Piaractus mesapotamicus challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila under different temperatures. It discusses the basic composition of experimental diets for pacu. The study findings revealed higher mortality of smaller fish compared with larger fish, regardless of vitamins C and E supplementation.
