Abstract
- The article offers information on the collections of the William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan related to U.S. military history. A list is provided of archival materials along with brief descriptions of their historical value. Historical documents discussed include official correspondence from New York governor George Clinton, a diary from lieutenant Jehu Hay, a statistical record of the Continental Army under the command of general George Washington, and the papers and correspondence of British general Thomas Gage.
