Abstract

The article reports on the study that evaluates the feasibility in all morbidly obese women with endometrial cancer treated with total laparoscopic hysterectomy bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (TLHBSO). It shows that comorbidities were present in 76% of women, while 29% had a single comorbid condition and 26% had two. It reveals that TLHBSO in the obese population is safe in the hands of experienced surgeons and anaesthetists.
