Abstract
- The article presents the author's reflections on the 75 year history of the journal on the occasion of the publication of its 25<superscript>th</superscript> volume. The author refers to the role of the Spanish research institute Servei d'Investigació Prehistòrica de la Diputació de Valencia and its Museum of Prehistory in the development of the journal and discusses the journal's contribution to Levantine and Mediterranean prehistory and archaeology. He also reflects on the international presence of the journal and mentions the more than 29 countries where it is included in specialized libraries.
