Abstract
- The article reports on the plan of the Conservatives to publish their Green Paper on family policy in Great Britain. The paper will be prepared by shadow family minister Maria Miller, shadow universities secretary David Willetts and society policy specialist Samantha Callan. The Conservatives expressed commitment to Sure Start and revealed plans to broaden support to families of children up to 19. They also raised concerns over the decline in the number of childminders and the effect of the recession on private nurseries.
