Abstract
- The article reports that Atlantic City Associates (ACA) has won a $7.6 million civil case against architectural engineering firm Carter & Burgess Consultants Inc. (C&B) in Camden, New Jersey. ACA, developer of the retail outlet center The Walk in Atlantic City, claimed that Carter & Burgress' design and other errors resulted several changes to the center which delayed the center's opening and cost ACA millions of dollars. After four years of waiting, the federal district jury unanimously agreed with the claims that made ACA won the case.
