Abstract: The article offers information on the significance of the nano powders to the coating industry in the U.S. It is believed that these nanostructured and near-nanostructured materials are used in various industries to improve the wear resistance of coating materials. Moreover, it is found that these are stronger and harder compared to those in thermal spray materials.
