Abstract

The article presents a study on the clinical management and importance of fetal boarderline lateral cerebral ventriculomegaly. It highlights ventriculomegaly as a common fetal abnormality that develops in the cerebrum due to fluid excess in the lateral ventricles. It evaluates the series of ventricle size found in fetuses affected by ventriculomegaly. It presents the association of mild ventriculomegaly (MVM) with other abnormalities on the central nervous system (CNS) such as congenital infections, intracerebral haemorrage, and nondevelopment of the corpus callosum. It also notes the significance of including ventriculomegaly stabilization in prenatal counseling.
