Characterization of Sounds of the Blackspotted Croaker Protonibea diacanthus (Sciaenidae) and Localization of Its Spawning Sites in Estuarine Coastal Waters of Taiwan.

The article presents information on a study which investigated the characterization of sounds of the blackspotted croaker Protonibea diacanthus (Sciaenidae) and the localization of its spawning sites located in estuarine coastal waters of Taiwan. It explores the materials and methodology used to analyze of blackspotted croacker sounds. It discusses the identification of the targeted croacking sound producer. It analyzes the seasonal variations in the occurrence of the sound of blackspotted croaker.
