Abstract

The article provides information on the research examining the efficacy of botulinum toxin in relieving pain. According to the study, botulinum toxin has inhibitory effects which are adequate for patients with painful diabetic neuropathy. Moreover, it notes that botulinum has neuromuscular effects available to reduce intensity of neuropathic pain.
