Abstract
- In criminal lie detection, the examination of the changes in event-related potentials read from the electrophysiological display of information processing in the brain can determine whether the suspect under test is involved in the case or not. The article, therefore, focuses on the scientificity and objectivity of event-related potential in criminal lie detection from a psychometric view, and argues that the indicators selected by this kind of detection are indeed representative, measurable and with acceptable reliability and validity.
