Abstract

The article focuses on growing pineapple sage or Salvia elegans in the U.S. southeast. It relates the features of the plant's flowers and leaves. Gardeners can get a much faster start by growing the pineapple sage from rooted cuttings than from seed. It advises gardeners to wait until late winter to trim back pineapple sage.
