Chapter 2: Differences and Divisions: Social Inequality in Sex Education Debates and Policies.

Chapter 2 of the book "Risky Lessons: Sex Education & Social Inequality" is presented. It presents a comparison of sex education curricula and youth pregnancy rates of three schools, Dogwood Middle School, a public school, Fox Academy, a private school, both white-dominated, and Southern Middle School, a public, african american dominated school. Both public schools have to comply with abstinence-only requirement, whereas Fox Academy, having more freedom in curriculum, infused an alternate study.
