Abstract
- Chapter 7 of the book "Ideologies of Education: Unmasking the Trap of Teacher Neutrality" is presented. The author advises teachers to understand the ideological aspects of literacy in order for them to help their students from non-dominant cultures master the discourse that they need to participate in their chosen professions. She also shares teaching strategies aimed to equip graduate students with the necessary skills for writing educational reports, such as giving them detailed written feedback and opportunities to practice the oral discourse.
