Aspen teams with Samsung.

The article reports on the partnership between Samsung America and Aspen Aerogels to market and sell the thermal insulation products of the latter to the concentrated solar thermal industry in the U.S. and Europe. It is noted that the move by the companies are relevant to the greenhouse gas mitigation effort. It is said that the aerogel insulation products supplied by Aspen are up to eight times more effective compared to other insulation materials. The three product lines manufactured by Aspen include Spaceloft, Cryogel and Pyrogel.
