Chapter Seven: The Use of the Teacher: Part I and Part II.

Chapter 7 of the book "The Play of the Personal: Psychoanalytic Narratives of Feminist Education" is presented. The chapter presents two conference papers which was meant to be used into one longer essay. It reports that the 1997 meeting of the Conference on Curriculum Theorizing and Classroom Practice. An earlier version of this chapter called "The Use of the Teacher" was presented at the meeting of the Canadian Critical Pedagogy Association in 1997. In 1998, the paper was revived under a different title calling it "The Use of the Teach," Part II.
