Abstract

The article focuses on the efficiency of an adapted Checkpoints Program which is formulated to reduce the risk to teenage driver injury in the U.S. As stated, teen drivers are at risk for accidents and injuries due to lack of driving experience and prosperity behaviors. With regards to the accidents, the Checkpoints is formulated to facilitate clear rule-setting on driving privileges during the first year of independent driving. In addition, the goal of the program is for the parents and teens to negotiate an agreement on limits related to driving at night.
