Abstract
- The article describes a study on open bite patients with skeletal anchorage system (SAS), presented at the 6th International Orthodontic Congress held in Paris, France. The characteristics of the skeletal open bite include an anterior open bite with an excessive lower facial height. The study revealed that adult open bite subjects were treated with SAS successfully. It was concluded that the intrusion of maxillary and mandubular molars has been possible following the development of SAS.
