Diagnosis and Treatment of Adult Patients with Facial Asymmetry.

The article discusses a presentation by Teruko Takano-Yamamoto at the 6th International Orthodontic Congress held in Paris, France, about the diagnosis and treatment of patients with facial asymmetry. The presentation described the cases of two patients with facial asymmetry. The first case involved the treatment of a patient with Class III malocclusion with severe facial asymmetry, unilateral posterior crossbite and TMD. The second case involved a patient who had anterior open bite, increased anterior lower facial height, TMD and mandibular asymmetry.
