Abstract

The article investigates the efficacy of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Exotoxin A (PEA) in inducing liver injury in rats for experimental purposes. The main objective of the experiment is to increase serum enzymes in rats as well as alter liver histology. It has been proven that PEA is a microorganism responsible for various sickness including septic shock, respiratory distress and wound infections as it elaborates varieties of toxic components resulting into liver damage. It has been regularly used in experiments especially in causing liver damage in experimental animals.
