Abstract

The article explains the formative and summative physical education (PE) assessment processes and introduces various instructional considerations that PE teachers need in order to implement student assessments effectively. It states that the teachers must consider the number of students, the amount of time students are engaged in PE and how often the students have PE in assessment process. Ways of preparing to conduct PE metrics assessments are discussed.
