BISTRO BLUES: TAVOULAREAS V. LAU.

The article presents a court case with regards the conversion of goods by a bailee who delayed the return of a property which belongs to the bailor. The appellant invested personal art collection in a restaurant, and requested for their return when the venture failed, but the respondents refused and delayed the return. The Ward Lord Justice in the Court of Appeal examined the case and found the respondents responsible for conversion after unreasonably delaying the return of the paintings.
