Abstract

The article reports on the clinical findings, diagnostic imaging, surgical management and necropsy of a case of jejuno-jejunal intussusception in a calf. The disease was diagnosed using ultrasonography, and was treated surgically by resection and end-to-end anastomosis. It is noted that the calf fatally relapsed eight day after laparotomy, and the necropsy and histology revealed enteritis and myenteric ganglionitis.
