Abstract

A biography of Polish physician, feminist, social and political activist Justyna Budzińska-Tylicka is presented. She was born on September 12, 1867 and was sent to a girls' boarding school in Warsaw. She married Stanisław Tylicki in 1894 and had a son, and became a doctor of medicine in 1898. Among the groups she was involved with are the International Socialist Women's Movement, the International Women's Suffrage Alliance (IWSA) and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).
