Abstract
- The article focuses on the construction of a new bridge by Balfour Beatty PLC in Middlesbrough, England. Four large steel beams were positioned for a single carriageway road connection spanning 45m across four tracks at the Newport East railway junction. The bridge forms a connection into a disused steel works being redeveloped as a commercial park and is part of the £15.4M North Middlesbrough Accessibility Scheme from client Middlesbrough Council.
