Librarians and learning developers working together at De Montfort University Library.

The article discusses the importance of the synergy of the librarians and the learning developers at De Montfort University in providing the students with a holistic approach in dealing their study skills in Leicester, England. The scheme has resulted from the survey conducted by the university showing that most of the students have difficulties in writing in an academic way, in seeking information and in referencing sources. This approach is demonstrated through the joint programme of the learning development and library workshops, the seamless support referral of the librarians and learner developers and the themed promotion weeks.
