Influence of conjugated linoleic acid enriched ghee feeding on cancer incidence and histopathological changes in 7,12-dimethyl-benz[a]anthracene induced mammary gland carcinogenesis in rats.

The article discusses a study which investigated the antimicrobial resistant pattern of Escherichia coli isolated from eleven poultry farms. Eight of the poultry farms were known to have a history of multiple antimicrobial usage for both prophylaxis and therapeutic purposes in Ogun State, Nigeria. The study is considered a good example of typical use of antimicrobial agents by most poultry farmers in Nigeria. Study results are also cited as justification for the development of a critical review of the usage of antimicrobial agents in livestock in Nigeria.
