Abstract
- The article discusses personnel changes to the U.S. Department of Education under the leadership of education secretary Arne Duncan. The author discusses how some personnel will remain in place until Duncan's appointees are confirmed and notes that officials such as assistant general counsel Phil Rosenfelt and deputy inspector general Mary Mitchelson have been temporarily promoted. He suggests there may be changes to the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.
