Youth Policy in Wales.

The article offers information on the youth movement and government policies for youth in Wales and England. It states that until 1999, the youth service in Wales was linked to youth service in England and its main exemptions were the development of the Curriculum Statement for Youth Work in Wales and the setting up of the independent Education and Training Standards Committee for Wales in 1994. It explains that as a result of the link to England, a number of opportunities were missed to examine variance cultivated by distinctive social, political, and economic differences between the two countries and its effect on youth service in Wales.
